The Gulf Education Development Council (GEDC) is an Gulf regional non-governmental organization working in the field of Education. was founded in 2001 upon the initiative of MENA country Leaders, and a resolution issued by the Arab League's Conference on "Educationnand Development" that was held in Saudi in 1999.
